Love this poem Tim. Those afternoon tea parties were such important occasions for restablishing the social norm. And then to be foiled by a bloodied rabbit!I too have an afternoon tea party poem but not so shocking. I hope the book does well for Peter.

I'm stoked there's a te reo category in this year's competition and really hope it's here to stay, it's so important to support the reo and this is such a great move by the lovely NFFD team - I'm excited!
